Inspiration and Vibes
Mood boards were made for aesthetic inspiration. Influenced by the simplicity and zen of Japenese blade designs.

The final direction would be a simple, low-cost knife, easily manufacturable, with sustainable materials.
Prototyping
Quick and cheap bristol paper and cardboard models were initially used to discover interaction and scale. Blades were made swappable using velcro to test different variations. 3D printing and sourced hardware were used to further ideate interaction, cost down, and develop the mechanical design. A sheet metal bending jig was created to test the design in metal.
3D Realization
Renders were then created for stakeholders to show how the user will interact and benefit from the product.
